This one was on the old site if I remember correctly. Any one happen to have it? I tried to go to archive.org to retrieve it, but am not having any luck.
“What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?”

Okay, I figured it out on my own and then finally accessed the old site, which takes forever now a days to navigate. I guess I should've used my chance to find a different song.

I use Dm instead of D in the song...

Sister Beams
Slobberbone

[F]Sister beams [C]with girlish pride
[Bb]And a smile worn ear to [F]ear
[F]Lifetime's dream [C]wedding scene
[Bb]Her precious day draws [C]near
[D]An Empty home, and a [C]life alone
That's [F]all she's ever [Bb]feared
[F]Yesterday her [C]fiance
He [Bb]made his plans quite [F]clear

He said “golden haired, your sister's fair
She's been so good to me
But a lifetime bound and tied down
Is one I just can't see
He says he must've lost his head
And I struggled to agree
He said, "You're a man, you can understand
A man has certain needs."

CHORUS
[D]Now everyday is just the [F]same
[D]And the hours go by so [C]slow
[D]Everyday is like the [C]day before, like
[F]Everday, but I [Bb]know
[F]It won't be like the [C]one I leave
[Bb]Behind me when I [F]go.

BREAK (one verse length)

Sister she don't talk so loud
Now that things are through
Waiting on some old advice
That won't ever come true
And she asks me if I'll stay with her
But I've got some things to do
You see now he's dead, he lost his head
When I struck him, what's to do.
